After constantly moving year after year my mom thinks this might be the one. I walk the streets after school because I'm too scared to go home without my mom there. My dads a mean drunk and beats us. All I do is keep it in when I'm out with friends. The only reason why I can run is because of my dad. I tell my mom to leave him but shes to scared to.

With leadership comes responsibility

A leader must have responsibility without it they would not last long as a leader or be considered a good leader. One fine example of poor leadership is the democratic senators in Wisconsin, this proves to be true because when things happened that they didn't like they ran away like little babies and won't do their job. This was struck by the sudden change in power in the state of Wisconsin and they are staying out of the state to stop a new bill that would force the union workers to give up their collective bargaining and pay for part of their healthcare. In times where we weren’t short in money it would be just fine but now we are in debt and now people need to do their share to help out the state. People in the private sector already need to pay for their healthcare and the state workers wouldn't even need to pay for half of the national average. On the other hand a good example would be the republicans because in times where they didn't like a bill they stayed and did the job that the public asked them to do. One prime example of the republicans staying and doing their job when they didn’t want to was when Obama passed the healthcare bill that will put our country in debt for years to come but they stayed and did the job that they were supposed to do.
Without chance

You find yourself trapped inside as a combat ready Spetsnaz team approaches the house. One might just give up but you rally your two friends and set up for battle. The one thing that you remember about all Spetsnaz team is that they breach simultaneously to exploit their targets exit strategy. As they approach you all you have is an old staple gun that you used to board the house. You all gather up and as soon as they breach the house you hit the well trained Spetsnaz operative with a staple to the right hand, Immediately he drops the his gun as your friend takes a towel with chloroform on it to his face to take him hostage. Now there are only four more left so you immediately run back to the front of the house and locked them in. With everything secure you call the local authorities and report that you saw a group of furious men approaching a house with weapons.
The dream of a lifetime

The darkness has emerged in and all that is heard is the subtle sound of the whistling wind rolling down the fog stricken alleyway. James is all alone now and in shock after his parents were violently murdered while he was watching helplessly from the old wore down closet in the corner of the dark musty room. He was filled with fear after his parents killer glared towards the motionless closet. He turns the corner while walking with fear and he sees a policeman on patrol, he scurries up to the policeman. As he turns James realizes that he is staring in to the grim filled eyes of his parents killer once again. To scared to move the blood splattered policeman grabs James and shoves him in the dirty old trunk which smells of vomit and blood he turns his head to find the severed body of the real police officer. The car comes to a stop with James filled with fear he lies there motionless in the back of the car. James turns and the rugged man shoves something down his throat everything is dark once again as he drifts off. Then bloody rugged man proceeds to slowly cut James as painfully as he can till, eventually James slams his chest into the knife to kill himself.  The dull blunt blade smashes through his brittle bones right through his heart as he slowly falls to nonexistence.

Split second

All the excitement as I walk to the middle of the mat knowing that only a split second could determine the match. Ready and eager to start only waiting on the ref to start the match.

“Shake hands, Ready wrestle!”

As the match began I instantly slammed my left hand on the back of my opponent’s head, which surprisingly snapped down to where he can only see his feet. As we battled he eventually made the mistake of shooting with his arms out, My chance with hesitation it could all be lost so I quickly under hook his arms and slammed him into the mat.

Buzzzzzz!

The first round was over with me up with the score at 5 to 0 and I lead, with the toss of the chip it is green. My opponent decides to defer and as I look over to coach, he gives me the signal to go down. The ref turns and asks what would you like to do.

“Down”

“Take your positions, Ready begin”

Instantly I begin my sit out and as I turn I’m free for a second but instantly it is over and he is still on top but now he is in fount of me. I gasp his leg and pull it to my body to turn him and get my points, As he starts to fall I quickly secure his arms and he falls to his back. Now I pressure his shoulders to the mat.

Slamm!

Yes a pin!

Ak Essay

Out in the middle of Africa with only two friends, looking to find his father, he sits among endless hills. One would think that the war was over but in fact it is not. While the government has taken hostages and has gained control; people can't enter the main city, as it is on watch. Knowing that your father has been executed or is in a dungeon, you are full of fear. This could be what is going through Paul's head in the book AK by Peter Dickinson. Reading this book it is easy to sense that the ending will be bad, as it appears to be a tragedy when looking at the symbols and plot.

On Page 94, Paul is walking at night due to the day's scorching sun. similar to bad weather, night is also a sign of tragedy. There is also a sign of death because one of Paul's friends; left their family so now a relationship has died. Death is also a sign of tragedy. One more example of death in the story is that Paul doesn’t know if his dad is even alive. In the book what seems good isn't at all what they think. One example is the war was over but that was just to bring people to peace and stop the fighting, so that they could take control.

After looking at the symbols the book clearly appears to be a tragedy, but it needs to fit the plot as well. This book follows the plot line of a tragedy starting out with nothing. Next the rise to power when the war was over. After the agreement the other side wanted more power and that was the tragic flaw. When the other side took over it acts as the tragic fall. So to predict that Paul or his dad will die is not a stretch.

Now Paul sits all alone and in distress because everyone he ever loved is gone. He sits once again among the endless hills trying to forget what has happened and find a better place. Once someone reaches about half way through the book one can sense that it is a tragedy. The end for Paul will not be great, but there is no way to stop this horrid end.
